Kiln Access Ramp for Lafarge Algeria - Ciment Blanc Algerien

Access into your kiln is one of the most crucial aspects of an outage. Having the right solution to bridge that gap is also very important. Bricking Solutions has been designing and manufacturing Kiln Access Ramps for over 20 years!

Ramps get personnel and equipment in and out of kiln safely.

Each ramp is custom designed by certified professional engineers, made with high grade 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, strong as steel and half the weight.

The final drawings are submitted for approval by the customer.

Lightweight T6 aircraft aluminum construction is easy to handle and install. 3/8” (9mm) non-skid diamond plate decking.

Guard rails are removable. Radiused nose matches kiln.

Designed to support 15,000lbs (6,804kg) live load with a 3:1 safety factor.

 Matching personnel ramps available.

Lifting lugs are designed into every ramp to maximize use of forklift for installation.

Assembly is easy with modular sections.

Most ramps install in about an hour.

When the bridge section exceeds 20 feet (6M) and a standard forklift is insufficient as the only mean of support for installing it safely across the cooler breach, a load fixture is needed.

The Load Fixture is a frame with vertically adjustable horizontal support beams used to support the bridge section by means of cables while it is being extended across the cooler chamber.

The Load Fixture is then used to lower the bridge section onto the kiln lip with the cable hoist.

All Bricking Solutions ramps are designed for working demolition equipment but special Brokk Matting should be used to prevent excessive wear to the ramp.

Brokk Matting is designed specific for each Brokk model and allows extra support on the ramp while demotion is being done.
